Alci Costa, Owner and Founder of Stonecrafters USA Inc., has always had one motto: he “gets his hands dirty and always puts the customer first”. Alci is a Granite Guy at heart and through years of hard work has gained a wealth of experience. His experience working in the construction and stone fabrication industries is almost as long as he is humorous.

 

Born in Alto Piquri, Brazil to a large family of 3 brothers and 6 sisters Alci has always known the importance of family. Alci Costa and Miriam Costa met at Church at the age of 10, fell in love, married, and had one daughter. Living in Brazil brought the Costas great joy yet something was calling them to make their new home the United States. With his family by his side, Alci settled down and made roots (and another daughter!) in Atlanta during the mid-1990s. Having the experience to own and operate a business, Alci starting seeking out leadership roles in the greater Atlanta area.

He began working in the construction industry in 1998 and never looked back. Alci was Managing Operator at a glass fabrication company before Stonecrafters and co-owned the successful Santa Fe construction company. When his business partner decided he was being called back to Brazil, Alci decided he was going to make an impact on his own!

 

Recognizing his strengths in leadership and construction, and having previous fabrication experience, Stonecrafters was a clear vision for Alci. Stonecrafters first opened in a humble shop in the Fulton Industrial area in 2006. With business going well, Stonecrafters moved to another location in Marietta. Fast-forward to today and here we are in Atlanta’s bustling design district in the heart of Midtown!
